Animafest Zagreb is one of the greatest and oldest class A animation festivals in the world. The organisers approached Andrej Vučković, a Croatian graphic designer, and me with the task of creating the entire visual identity and all accompanying materials for the festival. My task was to come up with my own take on the illustration of their famous man with the hat (featured in most of their designs over several decades). The illustration was later completely animated and I translated it into the main festival trailer. Illustration as a whole and many of its parts were used throughout numerous design applications.
